On October 13, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the fourth Vande Bharat Express Train of India. PM Modi flagged off the inaugural run of the new Vande Bharat Express Train from Amb Andaura to New Delhi. 
The new Vande Bharat train is an advanced version compared to the earlier ones, being much lighter and capable of reaching higher speeds in shorter duration.

The train is said to be operating between Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. “The semi-high-speed train will run between Delhi and Amb Andaura. It will run on all days except Wednesdays, “

The Vande Bharat Express, also known as Train 18, is a semi-high-speed, intercity, electric multiple unit train operated by the Indian Railways on 4 routes as of October 2022. New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, New Delhi to Varanasi, Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central, and Amb Andhaura (Una) to New Delhi.

It was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) at Perambur, Chennai, under the Make in India initiative. Construction took 18 months. The unit cost of the first rake was estimated at ₹100 crore (US$13 million), although it is expected to go down with subsequent production. At the original price, it is estimated to be 40% cheaper than a similar train imported from Europe.

The train was launched on February 15, 2019, by which point a second unit was expected to have been produced and readied for service. The service was named ‘Vande Bharat Express’ on January 27, 2019.

The Vande Bharat Express has a maximum speed of 160 km/h and can be achieved in a maximum of 140 seconds. It exceeded 180 km/h during testing, but its tracks are not capable of supporting such high speeds; the train is operated at a maximum speed of 130 km/h (81 mph).

Train number 22447 from New Delhi to Amb Andaura will start at 5:50am and will reach Amb Andaura railway station at 11:05am, and train number 22448 from Amb Andaura will depart at 1pm to reach New Delhi at 6:25pm.

This fourth VB train will cover four states and a union territory, making it preferable for travelers. Recently, the indigenously designed semi-high-speed train, the third service under the Vande Bharat series, was flagged off by PM Modi on September 30, 2022, from Gandhinagar Capital, and it started its commercial run on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Trains also run between Delhi and Varanasi, as well as between Delhi and Katra.
